The men and women wearing their high-visibility, yellow clothing have the task of ensuring motorway safety. But only too often they have to deal with distracted and reckless drivers who drive dangerously close to them and sometimes even crash into them.

Our motorways are 5 times safer than other road networks in France. But road safety is a constant challenge, so Sanef continuously rolls out awareness-raising actions in order to bring about a lasting change in driving behaviour.

The Sanef Group has been observing the driving behaviour of people taking to the motorways for the summer holidays every year since 2012. The aim is to identify the risks taken by drivers and by doing so take action to promote safe driving. The CEREMA Normandie Centre was entrusted with the task of analysing driver behaviour from one year to the next.

Several hundred, very creative contestants took part in this 3rd edition and shared on Instagram their pit stop moments while travelling to their summer 2018 holiday destinations.
