What is a non-payment notice (CNP)?

Example of a Sanef toll ticket with the CNP number

This document is issued immediately at the toll plaza when payment cannot be made (card declined, no means of payment available, faulty transponder, etc.). It is simply a record proving that the toll remains unpaid.

Note: The CNP (Notice of Non-Payment) is the official record issued at the toll plaza when payment is not received, while the AVP (Payment Notice) is the document that allows you to subsequently pay the outstanding amount.

How to resolve a non-payment notice (CNP) following your passage through the tollbooth?

Example of a SAPN toll ticket with the CNP number

To settle your account, you can pay by bank transfer to the account listed on your CNP (IBAN Sanef or Sapn).

👉 Please include your CNP reference* in the transfer details so we can identify you.

You can also pay your non-payment notice by check, made payable to Sanef or Sapn depending on the network you traveled on. Write the CNP reference* on the back of the check and send it to:

Sanef / Sapn
Service Comptabilité CNP
Echangeur des Essarts – BP 7
76530 GRAND COURONNE
FRANCE

Keep your CNP receipt; it serves as your invoice after payment.
*Note: The CNP reference is located on the receipt (see the red box in the example shown).

A 10-day delay

Please note that you have 10 days to rectify your situation, starting from the date of receipt of the notice of non-payment.
